Chad raised his eyebrows to the pink thing and tried to smile nicely. He hated pink. Probably had something to do with the whole associated-with-Sharpay thing. Ever since he'd decided Ryan was cool, he'd tried to like her. Really he had. It just... hadn't worked!
"Sharpay's not around too, is she?" He asked, looking around suspiciously. He couldn't see anything, but knowing Sharpay that could mean nothing. On the other hand, normally he'd know when Sharpay was around. She was kind of, well, dramatic. It was impossible to -not- know when she was around!
He looked from Ryan, to the Sharpette and shrugged. "You're good with baseball? How about shooting some baskets? Troy's not around just yet. Probably off somewhere kissing Gabrielle, or whatever her name is." He bounced the ball between his hands, showing off only a little bit.

Ryan brightened up at the mention of Sharpay's name, but then coughed trying to hide his change in expression. "Nah man, she's with Boi, after he ripped up one of my hats, she felt that maybe he was being neglected." Ryan said with a slight laugh, he no longer cared about his hat, just the owner of said dog.
Ryan looked at Chad with a smirk as he grabbed the ball from his hands. "Your on Danforth." He said smiling at him, it was good to have a guy friend for once.

"Excuse me, it's Gabriella, Mr. Danforth", Gabriella answered behind him, as if she appeared out of nowhere.
"And I can play ball too, you know. I don't know if Troy told you, but I once scored 41 points in a league championship game", she jokingly bragged, as she gestured for the ball to be given by Chad.

Ryan passed the ball back to Chad a huge smirk coming across his face as if to say you got served. "Hi, Gabi" Ryan said stifling a laugh at how forward she had been, more and more like Sharpay everyday.

"Oh, I don't really worry about him, he's just probably scared of losing to a girl", Gabriella giggled,as she jogged around the other side, and asked Ryan for the ball.

Gabriella stole the ball from Ryan, as she dribbled it, passed it between her legs, and went for a lay-up. Not a very good one, but still, it went through the basket.
"Whoo!" Gabi cheered, her fists up in the air.

Sharpay had decided to walk, or rather drive Boi around the Lava Springs, since after finding out that her dog had ripped one of Ryan's hats. She smiled at the thought that maybe, Boi is just getting jealous of all the attention her brother is getting from her.
She had made her way to the baseball field, almost driving pass it when she saw Chad, Gabriella, and Ryan in there. She suddenly hit the brakes as soon as she caught sight of the very familiar blond hair, which caused the pink golf cart to screech. She stepped off the golf cart, putting Boi on a leash and walked towards the baseball field.
But when she saw one more person, the one person she never expected to be there, holding a ball, Sharpay couldn't help but let out a scream.
"Lea?! You?! Holding a ball?!" She suddenly freaked out, almost letting go of Boi's pink leash.
