Ryan's smile faded lightly as his first pitch had been deflected. "Lucky swing, bet you can't do it again." He said staring her down as he pulled his arm back into a hard wind up, beaming it towards home plate.

Sharpay felt like Ryan needed that boost. "You can do this, Ry!!!" She cheered from the bleachers, making Boi bark again. Even though she hasn't seen him play before, she knew he's really good, and he's probably just warming up right now.

When he heard Sharpay cheer for him, Boi's excited bark echoing in his ear, he decided that he was not going to be shown up again, not in front of his girlfriend, he wasn't going to look like a fool today off all days.
He closed his eyes lightly, getting a scene in his mind, standing there in an old school baseball uniform, floppy hat pulled onto his head. It wasn't Lea at the plate anymore, it was a brawny baseball player, he looked like Babe Ruth. Ryan smirked looking off at the bleachers, he was a method actor, he could imagine Sharpay cheering him on as if this were the World Series and he were king.
He rolled his neck and threw the ball so hard at home plate he had to close his eyes in fear of hitting Lea square in the head. He waited for the sound, of either the inevitable crack of the bat, or of the ball hitting the chainlink fence behind.

"Whoooooo!" Sharpay raised her fist in the air, and clapped proudly. She had completely forgotten the fact that she had to act like she doesn't care about the sports. She hugged Boi tightly, as if she wanted to hug Ryan that way at that moment.

Ryan smiled over at Sharpay, shrugging lightly, happy that she finally saw him strike someone out, she had never seen him play as a child, so this was worth it to have him be his cheerleader now.
He waved his hat at her slightly before throwing it over the chained fence where the bleachers sat, he looked over slowly, and once everyone was not paying attention, he blew her a light kiss, winking at her with a grin.

Boi took off when he saw the flying hat, and he caught it in his mouth. Instead of shredding it to pieces though, he went back to Sharpay and placed it on her lap, which made her laugh. She scooped the dog back in her arms.
She started to blush like mad when she Ryan blew her a kiss and a wink. She quickly put his hat on her, to at least cover her red cheeks.
