He knew obviously they were debating on whether telling him the truth, even though he was sure that he knew what he had said about the cousins, though that had been real, had also related to Sharpay and Ryan. He was just that smart, not everybody could probably see through their acting but he'd had tons of practice, especially since his dad had been one of the few who had acted practically ever since he could remember. Especially since he had been able to pull off the fact he was cheating on his mother and that, that pissed him off.
His mother had finally been able to know the truth, right before she died, and she had been able to confront him which was why he was so curious as to find out if his dad had been responsible for his mom's death or if it had just been the illness that had done her in. Lukemia was what his mother had, among other things, so naturally things weren't going well. He wondered what was going on now?

Sharpay couldn't help but smile a little when Ryan nodded, took her hand and gave it a squeeze, they can't hide anything with Jake now. It was a scary thought at first, but now, it just feels like another weight had been lifted off her shoulders. With another person knowing and being okay with it, it just makes her feel relieved that they won't have to pretend all the time, well at least with Jake and Gabriella only around them.
She squeezed Ryan's hand back and turned to Jake with a shy, grateful smile as she nodded to him. Her cheeks were slightly red, she was still slightly embarrassed about the fact that they got caught like that. Oh well, at least it's not because of their acting skills...it was just that chemistry they got that only smart people like Jake could notice. "I really hope you'll keep this between us only, at least for now." She said in a small, pleading voice that no one, except for Ryan, had ever heard.

"Yes, don't worry about that, although I think you might want to make sure you're both at the top of your game acting wise, otherwise anyone could figure you two out. So does anyone else know about you two?" He asked as he looked at the two of them, clearly he wasn't surprised by what had happened, he knew that there were weirder things that had happened to him and obviously he was just going to have to be careful.
He knew that anything was possible and he believed that wholeheartedly. Clearly something had to have happened and he was the only one who could help his new friends out. Trouble usually followed him around, and he didn't want to get himself into trouble now. Half of the time when he got himself into trouble, others would get hurt and he didn't want that to happen. He'd already been through that enough.
He smiled as he looked at Sharpay. "Well they are taking it well enough that I know their secret." He thought as he looked at Sharpay and Ryan, the two obviously were more alike than anyone fully realized, especially since most people obviously didn't know the truth between the two of them.
