Bebe was still shaking like a terrified dog on the ground. Apparently her brain had shut down, but in reality, she was recalling the defining moment of her closed-off, violent life... Tamaran Tenko, Bebe's older sister, was beautiful, and perfect, just as Bebe had been long ago, in eighth grade. Their parents, thinking of the future, were arranging marriages for them, to ensure that the Tenko name lived on after their parents' death. And the number one candidate for Bebe's fiance? A strong, kind, and amazingly handsome millionaire's son, Jacob Castroneves. He and Bebe were close friends, anyway; it made perfect sense to Bebe, anyway. Until it didn't. Tamaran was engaged to Jacob within four weeks of her meeting him. Bebe was devastated, so devastated that she stayed stuck in the anger stage of the seven stages of grief. One night, when the world was calm, Tamaran and Bebe got into an argument over something stupid. "Taman, that's MY dress." "I swear it's mine, Bebe-chama." "No, it's MY dress. I bought it with my money." "No. Jacob bought it for me." Those words. Bebe snapped and proceeded to beat the crap out of Tamaran. And before she realized what was happening, her parents had subdued her, Tamaran's nose was bleeding, and Bebe was taken from her private school and shipped off to East High, where rumors that she'd killed an heiress persisted. Bebe chopped off her hair, because it reminded her of Tamaran, who she hadn't seen since. Bebe began to operate on a core of pure rage, doing everything to avoid people that hurt her... Bebe was beginning to see Jacob in Zeke, something she was infinitely afraid of. "Taylor, I'm... I'm..." Bebe couldn't bring herself to speak. "I... what did I... I... I don't remember what... Taylor... Sharpay... Miss Emma... someone... I can't..." Blew a bad man away He had a gun And a two bit song... Bebe collapsed onto the ground, screaming with tears and remorse and worry and brokenheartedness.

Emma, alone right out the door, suddenly heard the sounds of crying from inside as well. She had a confused expression on her face, and then slowly got up. She wiped away her tears, and opened the door. It seemed as if the crying was all around. All the girls seemed to be in tears.
Emma stepped in, and closed the door behind her. She knew she shouldn't laugh, but she did. Emma laughed at herself for crying, she laughed at Zeke dressed up as a girl, and laughed at how the girls almost kicked the crap out of him. Emma laughed, and laughed and couldn't stop laughing.
She ran over to the camera Sharpay took the picture of Zeke with. She looked at the picture, and laughed even more. Zeke was actually posing in the picture. He had a kissy/pouty face on, while looking at the camera coyly. It showed part of Emma and Gabriella holding him down, both of them smiling. It just looked like a fun time. Zeke was obviously having fun, with girls piled on top of him.
"Guys! Why are we crying? We didn't do anything wrong? We didn't even hurt Zeke. Look at this picture Sharpay snapped of him! He's enjoying himself!" Emma yelled to get everyone's attention.
"Sharpay, this party rocks. What a rollercoaster!" Emma laughed. "Let's keep it going!"

Sharpay suddenly looked at Bebe who was crying and screaming on the carpeted floor. She had clutched on to Ryan because of the slight shock. "No, Ry, I'm gonna need you to stay so, you know, if ever another intruder comes in, at least you'll be here to take care of him." She said, looking pleadingly at him, with her bottom lip sticking out a little.
She took him by the wrist, fighting the strong urge to hold his hand instead as she led him towards the group of crying girls, excluding Emma who was now laughing instead. She smiled at her comment about keeping the party going.
"So you girls are okay with it? Keeping the party going, I mean. Oh and I kinda asked Ryan to stay, he'll be our bouncer or our bodyguard." She winked at Ryan like she used to do before as a sister who keeps teasing her younger brother, trying to keep her face as playful yet innocent at the same time. Then she turned her gaze back to her friends. "That okay?"
She turned to Bebe though, who seemed really pained by something. She took a glance at Ryan before slowly letting go of him, as she made her way to the girl who looked so broken-hearted. She knelt down beside her and placed a gentle arm around her shoulders. "Bebe? Do you want to talk it out? I'm...here to listen." She said, finding it really shocking that those words were able to come out of her mouth.

Taylor felt kind of helpless as she watched more and more girls sobbing like mad. She didn't really know what to do at the moment. She had only agreed to come to this sleepover to accompany her friend, and well, get to know more about other girls. But seeing the situation right now, the sleepover had became rather like a crying session or something.
She was startled when Bebe collapse onto the floor and cried even harder. After recovering from the slight shock, she was even surprised to see the ice princess consoling Bebe. I didn't know Sharpay ... has a kind-hearted side too... Taylor thought that she must have been hearing things when Sharpay said those words to Bebe. It was just unbelievable. Maybe this sleepover isn’t as bad as she thought to be.
"Erm, Sharpay ..." Taylor started, finding it weird to be calling the ice princess's name, "I think we should help Bebe over to the sofa and let her rest, then she can tell us about it when she wants to."

Sharpay looked up at Taylor with a slightly surprised look on her face when she finally heard her call her by her first name, which hasn't happen for a long time. She nodded gently at her suggestion, "Yeah, I guess we should do that."
She then tried to help Bebe up but her body isn't that strong to help the other girl by herself only, so she motioned for Ryan to help her with Bebe. "Bebe, let's talk it out, okay?" She reassured her that she's really willing to listen.

Ryan gave Sharpay a light nod and stepped over to help lift Bebe up, feeling slightly awkward being the only boy, still pajama clad, carrying a perfect stranger over to a couch.
He cleared his throat lightly, wanting to say something, but rather closed his mouth and looked off awkwardly. Things would get easier once all the post-Zeke drama died down.

Sharpay smiled gratefully at Ryan for helping her and still staying in their party. She helped him guide Bebe to the sofa and after they had properly seated her on there, she took his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, her way to say thanks to him, before letting go of it quickly.
"Ry, could you make some more popcorns for us, while I go talk to Bebe?" She asked him shyly, a small smile tugging on her lips. "Please?" Her puppy dog pout showing again.

Ryan gave her another brief nod, his eyes trying not to give too much away, not when any of their actions now might be under scrutiny of every person in the room. "Of course," He said softly, eyeing Bebe sympathetically. "Anything for you." He added happily as he strode from the room to make the popcorn she had asked for so nicely.

Sharpay giggled but stopped herself quickly before any of the girls start to wonder about it. She turned back to Bebe after watching Ryan leave. She sat beside the still crying girl, re-placing her arm around her shoulders again.
"So...you want to talk about it?" She asked her gently and carefully, not wanting to seem like a gossip girl or something. "I'm willing to listen, if that would make you feel better."

Bebe wiped some tears from her face. Was this the same Sharpay that hit her last year for painting her dressing room the wrong color? The same Sharpay that'd barred her from trying out for any of the musicals? This summer was shaping out to be patently bizarre. "...Well... you see... when I hit Zeke... I thought of a time... when I... I..." Bebe sighed heavily. "When I was in eighth grade, my sister got engaged to the love of my life. And I snapped. Lost all control, beat her so bad that my parents disowned me for a year. I'm oversimplifying, but if I get into the details... you'll hate me more than you do already." Bebe frowned, tears still falling from her cheeks. "I was afraid that I'd... I'd do the same thing to Zeke. And I didn't want that to happen at all." Bebe bit her lip. "Despite the fact that he keeps hitting on me and being a jerk... he's still the closest thing I have to a male friend. And I don't want to lose that."

Sharpay finally understood what Bebe was trying to say earlier. She finally understood at that point why she was crying so hard after hurting Zeke. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty as well, but she decided to just focus on the girl beside her right now. She pulled her into a comforting hug, hoping she would be able to make Bebe feel better, and not mess up by saying something stupid.
"Oh...Bebe, it's okay, I'm sure Zeke will understand. I mean, look at me. I have been blowing him off for years, but he still isn't mad at me or anything. And if you're his friend already, I think he would never get mad at you. He's actually a good guy...he was just...desperate." She said softly, shaking her head. "I just wish he would be able to find his perfect girl soon, because although I'm perfect," she smirked at her own joke, hoping Bebe would catch it as well, "I'm just not the one for him. Maybe you could help him with that." She pulled away from the hug, looking for some kind of a reaction from her, hoping it's a good one.

Zeke knocked on the door his hands shaking. "Girls, Im sorry Im desperate and I dont know what I was thinking coming here eariler, but maybe you could forget about all that and we could all sit here and play truth or dare or, something, and be friends, and forget about everything that went wrong." Zeke said loud enough so the girls could hear him through the pink door that read Sharpay on it. Zeke sat on the floor until he got an answer from someone or something. "Please I'm REALLY sorry, Im crazy you can kill me if you want or anything please just put this behind and we can all be buddies." Zeke said beggingly.

Sharpay groaned when she heard Zeke's voice outside her bedroom door again, she hoped Ryan won't hear him. "He just doesn't learn, does he?" She shook her head, while looking pleadingly at Bebe.
"Can you talk to him, and tell him that he's just not allowed? I mean, this is a party for girls. Ryan is an exemption...I know he won't ogle at our PJs. He's a gentleman. But a Wildcat, you can never trust." She said, rolling her eyes. "Plus, it would make things uncomfortable...I mean, you now know what he did to me, right? So yeah." She looked down at her lap, suddenly taking interest on her nails.

Bebe nodded. She understood - and besides, Bebe had a lot of explaining to do to Zeke anyway. About her snapping, and her attitude, and Chad, and so many other things. Bebe opened the door to the room, forgetting completely about her outfit and her tear-soaked face. She probably looked like something out of a horror movie. Like... Janet Leigh in Psycho. Not even bothering to look at Zeke's face, she launched straight into her explanation. "Sharpay really doesn't think it's a good idea," Bebe began, her voice running at a brisk pace. "I mean, she's got a point, she said something about you kissing her, but whatever, I mean sometimes people make mistakes -" Bebe cut off, finally looking at Zeke. "Which brings us to point two." Her voice was much calmer now. "Me apologizing for beating you. I'm sorry. Really, I am. ...Don't ask why I did it. I don't know. Maybe the way I was raised, or I have some issues, or something... but please... forgive me." Bebe paused. "I say that a lot to you, now that I think about it."

Zeke looked at Bebe, and laughed. "Yeah you do, and I forgive you, again." Zeke said smiling. "Alright, but I thought it would be cool if we all hung out and did something but oh well." Zeke said shrugging. "Here, you might need this your-make up is running." Zeke said giving Bebe a napkin he had in his pocket from the Lava Springs Kitchen. "Good luck, with he sleepover." Zeke said pushing Bebe back through the door. "See you." Zeke said waving.
