Bebe watched the two girls talk with a bit of a frown. The Sharpettes had always bugged her, with their perfectly matching clothing and such. But Gabriella... had never been mean to her. Shocking.
Bebe shrugged and continued to design sets for Ms. Darbus in the shadows.

Bebe waited patiently for the girls to leave... and they did, rather quickly. She immediately jumped onto a stage box, balancing on it rather precariously. No one around! NO ONE AROUND!
She opened her mouth and began to belt a song that had always been a favorite of hers:
"You've got to press it on you... you just-a think it, that's what-a you do, bay-baaay... hold it down there!"

Bebe jumped at least seven feet in the air.  She had NO IDEA who was talking to her. In the madness, she careened off of her box and landed flat on her rump. She looked up to see Lea, staring in awe at her. Apparently she hadn't gone. "...Was what?" Bebe asked suspiciously. |
