Zeke turned on the TV and waited for the boy’s arrival. This is where it got hard for Zeke. He didn't really know what they would do at this 'party'. He then shrugged and walked over to the kitchen. He put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and let it bake.
He then put chips and food on the counter for them to eat. He then dialed Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Papa Johns and ordered Cheese Pizza and Pepperoni from every place. They had a lot of Pizza's coming, so they could all eat. If they didn't like one, they could have the other one.
He then heard the popcorn beep. He then got the popcorn out and put it in a bowl. He then let it cool and put it on the counter. He then got out all the soda's he had and set them out to.
Zeke was ready. Dead ready. He then sat on the couch and awaited for someone to arrive.

He smiled, he'd gotten the invite directly from Zeke himself so he was happy. It was the first time he'd been invited to crash anywhere here in this new place, so he was prepared for anything, his mother had taught him to be prepared in case of any emergency. He kept an eye out as he walked up to the house where he would be staying, and prayed that he wouldn't find any kind of trouble, he didn't know who all would show up, but honestly anything was possible. He didn't want trouble, after all he had plenty of that at home.
He had gotten everything ready and put what he would need in his backpack, which usually was filled with tons of books but today it wasn't that way. He had gone home and explained to his dad that he wouldn't be there, and thankfully he hadn't gotten yelled at for it. He knew his younger siblings would be alright, they were over at friends' houses themselves. He thought that at least his dad would appreciate getting the house to himself, but no, nothing seemed to please him. He got his father off of his mind by focusing on the party at hand.
He knocked on the door and waited for Zeke or perhaps his parents to open the door. This was definitely going to be very interesting to say the least. He just hoped that things would be calm, but in a houseful of guys anything could happen, he knew that from the start. He did of course, before coming, had to listen to his father's lectures about not breaking any rules, which he didn't really pay all that much attention to, because it was the same speach as always. "Come on Zeke, open up." He thought as his bag was quite heavy.

Zeke heard a knock on the door. He jumped up from the couch and walked over to the door. He looked out the window and saw Jake. He invited him personality in the gym, so he was the first to come. Well that is what Zeke assumed.
He opened up the door, and his eyes met Jake's. "Hey Jake, big bag." he laughed and put a hand to pointing inside. He was telling Jake to come inside. He then closed the door and sat on the couch. "So, do you have anything you want to do tonight??" he asked with a smile.
His eyes then went to the door. Zeke invited every boy and Jake was the only one there? That was pathetic!! He hoped more people would come. He picked up the phone and called Ryan, and there was a busy signal. Of course, Sharpay was probably calling Troy. He rolled his eyes and then hung up the phone.
"You know anyone else coming?"

He smiled as Zeke invited him in and he followed him into the living room. "Yeah I know, it's a big bag." He said with a small laugh. "I'm not sure...what to do tonight. Actually no, I mean I figured Troy would be here at least, but...I haven't heard or seen anybody heading this way, yet. Anything is possible though." He knew that alot of people were busy here all the time, so it was only a matter of time until someone showed up, right?
"I didn't think I'd be the first person here, that's for sure." He said as he sat his stuff down, after all it was well...it wasn't heavy though it looked that way, well not as heavy as it could've been. He only brought what he thought he might need. After all he didn't really own all that much anyway, though he made sure to bring whatever emergency supplies he had at the house, because like his mother had always told him, it was best to be prepared for any emergency, even one that wouldn't probably happen. He didn't know what to expect.
He was very surprised that nobody was here yet, after all where were they? Did they not know what time they were supposed to be there? He figured Troy would've atleast been there, but maybe he was waiting on the others so anything was possible at the moment. He couldn't help but worry about his younger siblings though, he didn't like the idea of leaving them alone with their dad for long, simply because their father wasn't exactly one to be there for anyone but himself. If it hadn't been for his mother's best friend, they probably wouldn't have known what a father figure was, after all his own dad had worked so often so he was never there, but when he was, what all could be heard was screaming and yelling coming from him, he liked to keep the kids close, and he didn't like the idea of them being too far away from the house, he liked to be in control and it destroyed him when he couldn't be. It was a good thing that his siblings weren't at home and that they were with their mother's best friend, it was safer for them that way.

Troy ran up to the door as fast as he could arriving at Zeke's house. The Baylors were really nice. Troy loved coming here. Troy, without knocking, walked in the door. Troy found Zeke and Jake in front of him talking. "Hey Zeke hey Jake what's up?" Troy said. He ran up and pounded Zeke on the back after he shut the door. "Oh, Jake I got good news." He said joyfully. "You made the team! With you playin' it'll be off the hook!"

He smiled as he saw Troy come in, he was even more surprised when Troy said he made the team, it was a good feeling that was for sure. "Thanks, well let's just hope I'll be able to help the team, instead of hurting it." He knew with his luck, anything was possible, he'd seen what happened when he had bad luck and it didn't turn out very well at all. He hated when he had bad luck.
He smiled as he then turned to Zeke, he didn't know what Zeke was thinking, after all this was supposed to be a good night just to hang out with everybody, and since most of them were in fact with the basketball team, anything was possible. He wasn't about to get himself into trouble, he just wondered how his father would react to the fact he'd not only tried out for the team but had made it as well. His father might not be too happy about it. Maybe his luck was turning around?
He was happy to be around people that actually were nice and didn't try to give him any trouble, he could fight, but only if he had no other choice. He would rather avoid confrontation if he could help it, he also knew what would happen in homeroom, Ms. Darbus, probably wouldn't like the fact he was on the team either, not that he cared what she thought. After all theatre and basketball were too completely different things. It didn't mean that he didn't respect those that were involved in the theatre. "Wow, I made the team." He thought.
