Emma stood quietly at her locker. The hallways were bustling with students, passing her by as they raced off in different directions towards whatever class they had next. She could hear happy chatter and laughter from all around her. Emma smiled to herself as she could practically feel the positive vibes from all the different friendships happening while she stood there in the middle of it all. Emma looked into the dark gray abyss of the of the gloomy locker, wishing there was some way to make it better.
"I need to invest in some pictures." Emma said, rearranging her books in her schedule order. She reached in the back of her locker, feeling something squishy in a plastic baggie. Her nose cringed in fear of what it was. She slowly grabbed it, and pulled it out slowly into the lights of the hallway. Her eyes widened as she realized it was an old moldy peanut butter and jelly sandwich the previous owner of the locker left behind. Emma never realized it when she slammed her books into her locker on her first day. She screamed and dropped it on the floor. It hit the while tile with a slight splat, right next to her black Prada heels. She quickly stepped back from it, not quite sure what to do with it.
Emma turned to see a trashcan not too far behind her. She looked at the moldy sandwich with determination. She was not afraid of it! She could handle this. Emma slowly leaned over, and picked it up quickly by the corner of the baggie that held it. She quickly raced to the trash can and dropped it in.
"Take that." Emma said looking down into the trash can. She adjusted her black knee length skirt, and ran her hands down the front of her white blouse, but stopped when she reached her bright red belt at her waist. She took a deep breath, and tossed her curled blonde hair over her shoulder. She walked back over to her locker, and starred at it again in a displeasing manner. Now she could sense a smell of old peanut butter in her locker.
"Okay, I need to go buy some air freshener after school." Emma said, her hands on her hips, her hip popped to one side.

Cradling her textbooks in her arms, Evey held them close to her chest as she trudged down the hallway. Reaching her locker, she turned the dial, making sure she had the right combination. But nonetheless, the locker still wouldn't open. Scrunching her lips together in an aggravated pout, she jiggled the lock while simultaneously pulling on it and in the process, her books fell through her arms, their 'thuds' resonating throughout the hall. Groaning, she squatted down on the floor and collected the books, and with all patience lost, she slammed them into her locker.
Brushing a strand of her chocolate-hued hair out of her eyes, she glanced over at the girl beside her. Something plopped to the floor and Evey startled as the blonde girl shrieked, the scream amplifying with each moment, causing Evey to cringe. Trying to be discreet, Evey perused the floor, looking in vain to see who the perpetrator was. The criminal that could elicit such a screech. Her tranquil blue eyes widened as she saw that it was a sandwich. Surely that wasn't what had thrown the blonde into such a frenzy.
Biting the inside of her cheek, she lowered her gaze towards the floor, trying not to be insensitive as she watched the showdown between the girl and the sandwich. She found it impossible to turn away however. It was like a tragic car accident that was horrific and yet, nobody could look away. She was starting to question the sanity of East High students...

Emma tapped the toe of her heel on the white tiles. She began to think about how to remodel this locker. Many ideas were coming to her, as she realized the girl standing next to her, and she seemed to be watching Emma. Emma was not a shy girl when it came to confrentations. She had looks, confidence, and some wit. She turned towards the girl, hands on hips. She raised one eyebrow, and gave her the once over.
"Excuse me? Something wrong?" Emma said with obvious fake niceness. She wanted to know why this girl was obviously looking at Emma, and probably mocking her in her mind. Emma flipped her hair over her shoulder, and raised her eyebrows, waiting to see what this girl would say. She seriously hoped one of her friends would stop by, and help her with her dilemma of her locker makeover, and save her from the leery eyes of this girl.

Evey felt Emma's eyes boring into her and suddenly decided that if looks could kill, Evey would've been reduced to a corpse on the floor. Busying herself with her locker, rearranging books and binders, Evey hoped that Emma would just ignore her, so that she, herself, could crawl back into a corner. It was better to be ignored sometimes than face the wrath of an angered, sandwich-hating princess.
"Excuse me? Something wrong?"
Evey nearly jumped out of her skin as she detected the venom in Emma's words. Her brain seemed to be on auto-pilot and, for the the life of her, she couldn't muster up some words to speak to Emma. After all, being the new girl in a new school was bad enough. Making new enemies on the first day was even worse. Evey tried to compose herself as she calmly shut her locker door, despite the fact that her hands were shaking slightly. Avoiding eye contact, Evey just shook her head and managed a small smile before speaking.
"N-no. Nothing wrong. Just--on my way to, um...my next class," Evey mumbled as she went to turn around, wanting this confrontation to be over.

Zeke carried his Math binder in his hand like a basketball. He was on his way to English Class to get his homework Troy stepped on during Gym. He then rolled his eyes at the imaginary Troy in front of him. Though he wasn't really there because he was with his girlfriend.
Zeke grumbled at the name. Sure, he was in love, but they use to be BEST friends. Then she came along, and then ta-da they weren't best friends in more. Though Zeke understood that, well, love was love. He was in love and so was Zeke so he understood.
Zeke then paid attention to in front of him. He saw the girl he loved. Emma. He then ran up and then a few inches away he calmly walked forward. "Hey baby." he said and put his arm around her hips and kissed her slightly on the lips. "I missed you." he said slightly and looked at her. "Lipstick smeared." he said sweetly. He then whipped it off with his fingers.
"Hey, look I have some pictures from this summer." he said opening his binder which has pictures. Some of which were him and his family. Some were the wildcats. "Here is one of me and May, I got an extra one because I knew you would want one." he winked and gave her the picture of May in her red with white polka-dots bikini and Zeke in his green swimsuit. They were smiling, but yet laughing at the same time. "So..." he said.

Jocelyn slipped through the halls and found her petite frame hit a group of people. Jocelyn didn't feel like apologizing, why should she? Someone pushed her. She then realized that next to the group was where her locker was located. She put in the combination and opened the locker, pushing her brown hair away from her face, and sliding one of her emerald eyes towards them.

Emma smirked slightly as she could tell her mean attitude was unnerving the girl. She knew she had some power, but not that much. She figured that hanging around Sharpay so much was finally rubbing off on her. She decided a tiff this early in the morning was not worth it. She sighed, and smiled at the girl.
"Sorry, I'm just a bit....on edge." Emma said, remembering the disgusting sandwich. She was about to regail her story to the girl, when she saw Zeke coming towards her. She jumped up and down slightly. "Hi Zeke!" she waved slightly, as she suddenly really felt like Sharpay. Her signature wave and calling out to the boy she liked. Emma shook her head slightly, and then felt Zeke's arms around her hips. She kissed him back, and looked up in his eyes. "I missed you too." She giggled as Zeke wiped the smeared lipstick. "Thanks sweetie." Emma said, and kissed him again, not caring if it smeared her lipstick more.
Emma gasped, as she took the picture of Zeke and May. "How adorable! May looks so cute!" Emma gushed about her favorite little girl. She quickly placed it in her locker, and smiled at it. "It's perfect, Zeke. Thank you." Emma gently tugged on his shirt to pull him closer. She looked up, and moved in closer to kiss him, when she noticed someone fell in the hallway, right by them.
Emma looked down at the girl, and saw her get up, and go to her locker, right next to Emma's. Emma sighed loudly. Why was she surrounded by all these weird people and their lockers? And the girl didn't even apologize to them for bumping into them. Emma looked up at Zeke and pouted, showing him, that she wanted him to take some action. No one should bump into Emma without having to apologize!
Emma suddenly realized how more and more like Sharpay she was becoming every day. Her thought process, her attitude, and even her actions. Emma didn't want to come off as mean like Sharpay, just strong like her. Emma turned towards the girl, and looked at her, seeing if she would say anything.

As the girl turned slightly towards Jocelyn, she backed up. She didn't know what came over her, she was never scared of anything before. Jocelyn straightened herself up and pulled her hair back once again, to show the girl that she wasn't scared. Then she realized that she wasn't trying to scare her, she was trying to stay as strong as possible. Jocelyn fixed her setting in her mind and decided to try and be friendly. She needed some friends in this school, even if it mean't changing her rather harsh attitude into something sweeter or softer.
Jocelyn thought everything through and then finally spoke up, "Hey, my name's Jocelyn. I just transfered here." She didn't bother telling her that she didn't transfer, she was just expelled. It just wasn't something that you'd tell someone you just met, and it caused her to loose a lot of potential friends in the past. Looking at the girl with a closer eye, she realized the girl wasn't just a Sharpay lookalike, but rather someone who admired Sharpay. This calmed Jocelyn's once flustered spirits.
It's not that she hated Sharpay, she had nothing against her. She just knew that she was the same kind of girl who got her expelled at the last school. Her mom said if this happened again she would send her to boarding school. Finally, Jocelyn calmed her nerves and waited anxiously for a reply.

Zeke felt Emma kiss her again. He laughed slightly and smiled. This was a good day, a very good day. He then set his books down and got a thing out his back pocket. We then cupped his hand over her ear and whispered: "Show you at the tree." he whispered and showed her a sneak peace of a black case.
Inside of the black case there was a stunning silver necklace that he was going to give his girlfriend. He bought it during the summer thinking he would get a girlfriend. Oh well, he had one now. He then slightly smiled and winked at her.
"No prob babe." he said slightly when Emma commented about the picture. "I know she is our favorite little girl." he smiled rocking back and forth. He then felt his shirt being tugged closer to Emma like when the ditched school. Oh no, everyone was going to see them go crazy in the hall.
He then saw Emma pouting about the girl. He then shook his head. He wasn't going do something to a girl who was having a bad day. Why was Emma acting like Sharpay?? He shurgged and faced towards the girl.
"Hi, I am Zeke and this is Emma. Sorry, she is just having an off day." he said motioning a hand out to shake the new girl's hand. "Wow, a lot of new transfer people." he smiled.

Emma's eyes widdened as she caught sight of the beautiful black box. She wondered what Zeke had gotten her. She smiled brightly, and knew that whatever it was, she would love it forever. She nodded, and couldn't wait to get out to the tree...their favorite spot.
Emma turned towards the girl as Zeke introduced himself and her. She sighed and shook her head. She didn't know why she was acting so mean recently, but she decided to stop. She wasn't Sharpay, and obviously that's what Zeke liked about her. She extended her hand to Jocelyn as well. She smiled and nodded at Zeke's comment. "Yeah, there are a lot of new transfers. Including me" Emma winked at Zeke.
"So Jocelyn, where are you from? And why did you come to East High?" Emma asked, reaching into her locker, and still noticing the other girl on the side of her. She smiled at her too. "Are you rushing off to class? Don't. Stay and chat with us for a bit." Emma wanted to show these two she actually was a nice person, despite her sometimes "strong" attitude.
"I'm Emma, and this is my boyfriend, Zeke." Emma said to the other girl, extending her hand to this girl as well.

"Hey," Jocelyn said reaching out to shake Emma's hand, "Nice to meet you, and I wasn't rushing, I might not even go to class today. I don't really feel like it. You know?" Jocelyn reached into her locker and pulled out her thin, silver, compact. Fixing up her makeup, which had been smudged quite a bit in her last class, she smiled and said, "I like your look, I used to look like you, pretty preppy girl. There's nothing wrong with that-"
"But I wanted to be deeper you know?" Jocelyn smoothed out her ripped-in-all-the-right-places jeans, and picked at her top. She was wearing a black corset over a white spagetti strap top, paired with her 4 inch black strappy sandals. She wasn't gothic, she wore light makeup and was a nice person. Well, not that nice, she had a sarcastic outlook, a cutting vocabulary, and piercing green eyes. But she wasn't all mean, it's just she wasn't rainbows and sunshine.

Emma laughed slightly as Jocelyn talked about how there was nothing wrong with dressing the way she did. Emma didn't take it as a bad thing at all. Everyone had their own style of clothing they felt comfortable, and she loved how she dressed. If Jocelyn was happy with how she dressed, then that's cool too.
"Yeah, I can understand that." Emma nodded to Jocelyn. She wondered what it would be like if she started to dress like Jocelyn. Emma cocked her head to one side and looked at her outfit. It was cute in a gothic sort of way, but that definitely wasn't Emma's style. Plus, she could never feel comfortable wearing a corset out and about. She looked at Jocelyn's shoes and her eyes got wide. "Where did you get those shoes? They are so hot!" Emma did have to give that to the girl, at least she knew a good pair of shoes.

Jocelyn looked back down at her feet and took a glance at her sandals again. "Oh," Jocelyn said,"I get special ordered shoes, my mom's a soap star." This was true. Her mom was a soap star and she had been an actress for many years. Jocelyn always thought being the daughter of the famous Alyssa Erics was really boring and tiring. "I didn't actually transfer, I moved here from New York City, where my mom worked. Now she just is commuting." Jocelyn didn't like her mom being gone for long periods of time, but it wasn't a big change.
Jocelyn grew up with her "servants". But she didn't think of them that way, her maid was her aunt to her and her driver was her uncle. And her butler was the father that Jocelyn never knew of or met. Jocelyn snapped back into reality and looked at Emma waiting for a reply.

Zeke looked up and down at the two girls talking about shoes fashion and soap operas. He rolled his eyes annoyingly. "Here we go again. "Shoes, so hot. Did you hear Cameron married and alien but he is about to marry the doctor and he his ex girlfriend had a baby that is his... blah blah blah." he said throwing his arms on every word.
He then smiled because, Emma was Emma now. She wasn't the Sharpay type she was herself. He then laughed slightly at the day he had. I mean it went from an okay to a great to a girly day. Up, down, up down. It was practically like a roller coaster!
He then smiled at the two girls and looked around. Everyone was talking or walking to class or everything a senior classmate would do. "So, what do I do know. Say that Emma's lip gloss looks hot on her?" he shrugged and looked at Emma and winked. "It was true." he said rubbing his neck.

Emma's eyes bugged out. "Wow you're mom is a soap opera star? Which one?" Emma had been known to indulge in watching a soap opera now and then. They were full of drama and lust and ridiculous plot lines so it made her life seem not as bad as those. "Wow, New York City. I totally want to go their someday. I'll bet it's amazing!" Emma gushed, wondering what it would be like walking down the streets of Manhattan in her cute outfits, and just being among all of that fashion and hip trends.
Emma zoned back in as Zeke made fun of them. She rolled her eyes at him, and hit him playfully. "Stop that." she laughed. She smiled as Zeke complimented her lipgloss. "I wore it just for you, baby." she said, and kissed Zeke. Emma suddenly wanted to know what was in the box Zeke had for her. She tugged on his sleeve slightly, and looked up at him coyly.
"Zeke, how about we go to our special tree?" Emma asked, trying to act cute and sexy, but coming off completely like a little kid anxious to open their presents on Christmas morning.
