For a moment there, Shane was going to leave but when he heard Bebe say 'Luck', she knew he must've meant him. Other than him, who had such a stupid name? Shane smiled dumbly and nodded his head. "Oh, yes, I'm pretty much lost on what to do, you see."
Smooth, Luck. Pretty smooth. Make her think you're a British idiot.
His dumb smile turned into a toothy grin. "So let's make a certain pretty ole' girl make me her puppet." He made himself look stiff and still. "Where should this puppet boy work?"

Bebe was completely baffled by Shane's way of speaking. His accent was easy enough to comprehend, but it took her a while to realize that SHE was the aforementioned puppet girl, and that Shane was the puppet.
Bebe's head hurt even more, but she smiled warily.
"All right, Luck-san, as a stage manager, you need to organize the prop box." Bebe took Shane backstage and pointed to a very large wooden box, where all the props were thrown helter-skelter. Seriously, drama kids? They had no concept of neatness. "This is your job for today. And no one will be willing to help you, because the prop box job is hell. But you'll get the hang of it."
Bebe smiled at Shane. "Just do your best. You'll do better than Zara."
Bebe glared at him. What WAS he doing?

Tiara looked once more at the people working on the sets. She had spotted a few familiar people. Like the girl with pink hair. Seriously? Who in the world has pink hair? Oh, right. Her. Tiara didn’t like Bebe, but then again, she didn’t like anybody, or at least just the seniors. Thankfully, it wasn’t long until she wouldn’t have to see them again. She was glad she didn’t have to do any of that (she was referring to the set design). Even if she was asked, she wouldn’t. The only thing she would partake in pertaining to any decorating or building of sorts would be the decisions. Of course Sharpay always had the first and final word, but whatever Sharpay liked, Tiara liked.
Just then her concentration was interrupted when someone walked onto the stage. She turned to the boy, who seemed confused and couldn’t help but laugh at his appearance and expression. Somebody’s happy. And he happened to be British too. Tiara thought she was the only one from overseas, but apparently not.
Getting bored of watching everyone at work, she decided to go and see if Sharpay needed anything. After all, that is what she should’ve done in the first place. Just as she was about to turn, something, or rather someone, caught her attention; Jimmie “Rocketman” Zara. The last time Tiara had talked to him was when Ms. Darbus had told them they would be understudies and afterwards he had ask her if she wanted to go out to lunch sometime. Although she didn’t give him an answer and just walked off, she found it adorable, even if he was kind of weird. “Oh, nothing,” She began. “I was about to check in with Sharpay to see if she needed anything.” She gave him a friendly smile and crossed her arms. She returned her gaze up the stage for a brief moment and then averted her eyes back to the long-haired boy in front of her. “What about you?” She asked. “Manage to pick up any girls?” She gave him an evil smirk.

Shane stared at the box, blinking. "Helluva box."
Then he cracked a sweet smile. "I should arrange them, right?" he was new to the stage. The last time he went to the theater was when he was nine. He was excited to watch a colorful musical called Cats, but in the middle of the show, had clumsily fallen towards the stage when he stood up to go get his brother a measly drink. That was the end of that. Shane never dared stepping on a stage.
Except today.
And seeing the box and the props, he didn't want to be here ever again. God hates me. "You know I'm not British, right?" You dress like one. And talk like one. And act like one but you're not one. "I have no idea what a musical even looks like so I'll be needing a lot of guidance. Wrong puppet for the job but willing to do it."

Jimmie didn't think he was that much of a flirt, but apparently he had a reputation of flirting a little too much, always trying to pick up girls and the like. Not that he ever really succeeded in doing so, but there was going to be one day where he would actually get some girl to say yes to him. He was actually hoping it would be Tiara since she did say she would love to have lunch with him. Even if she was just kidding around, that gave him hope actually. No girl even gave him a sliver of hope like that and he liked feeling like she wanted to see him again outside of school or another activity.
"Not yet," he said, shrugging slightly like it happened everyday. Which it did. No girl had said yes. What they didn't see in him was beyond him, really. "I was hoping to save that spot for you. No one can compare to you, Babe." He was definitely laying it on thick, but he tended to do that when he was either nervous or knew he was entirely out of his league. He was nervous with Tiara, he didn't know why, but maybe it had to do something with how she always followed Sharpay around, but wasn't as bad as her. He didn't know.
He leaned against the stage, giving her a small grin as he looked at her. "What do you say to you and I and that lunch? We never did get to have it."

Bebe had to do everything in her power to ignore Tiara and Zara. If she even acknowledged their existence at this point, while they were planning a meet-cute date, she might explode and kill someone. Probably the person she was ashamed to admit she had a semblance of a crush on. But instead she focused on the rather charming Shane Luck.
"Yeah, you need to arrange it," Bebe informed him. "Just put the big stuff on the top, because it gets pulled out immediately for the show. Put things in order by when they appear in the show. The left end of the box is for act one, and the right end is for the end of act two. I think you'll get it."
Bebe was shocked to find out that Shane wasn't British. "...What? Really? You aren't British, Luck-san? You have the most flawless British accent I've ever heard." And Bebe had heard quite a few, in her family's yakuza dealings. "But don't worry. You think Zara has any experience?"
She briefly turned to hear him ask Tiara about lunch. She wheeled back to Shane quickly, not letting her mind register the comment. "I'll supervise if you want me to."

Shane digested the information in easily. "Okay, I think I'll get the hang of it." He smiled sweetly. Then, he heard the black-haired boy ask the blonde-haired girl for lunch. Boy, did it look sickening to him.
He liked the look of shock on her face. But it was somehow expected. "Well, some people have their odd talents. Mine had to be a British accent. Fools a lot of people. I'm actually from Colorado." He looked at Zara then shook his head. "But I've had as much experience as he had actually."
He shrugged his shoulders. "If you want to, you can. Your choice."
Shane sighed. He had to get to work sometime. He did what he was told to do, he put a few of the equipment on the left side. He thought it would be better to start there. He just started and his arms already hurt like hell. Damn life. After a moment, he fell to the floor because of the lace on his shoe making him trip. The things in his arm landed on the right side so he had to arrange it on the left side.
Still on the floor, he smiled to himself. His gut hurt but hey, this was show business. He stood up again, and fixed his t-shirt.

Even though Tiara had the ability to be 'evil' (of course no one at East High knew, at least not the extent of it), she still had a heart. Therefore, she was still capable of showing emotions and having feelings. As oppose to what people have said. Back home in London, she didn’t have time for a boyfriend. She was way too occupied with her school- London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, or LAMDA. And since it happened to be a drama school, they were all in the same circle of friends; therefore, it was weird.
Tiara looked towards Sharpay and Ryan again. She couldn’t help, but think that there was something weird going on between them. Sure, they spend a lot of them together considering they are twins and all. However, something didn’t seem right. When Tiara had first got to East High, she had spent most of her time with Sharpay. Now that her own plans were into effect, the Evans twins had been spending a great deal of time together. She shrugged it off for the time being. Tiara only did so because Jimmie had spoke up. She would have to keep a close eye on not only Sharpay, but Ryan too.
Turning her head back to Jimmie, she couldn’t withhold the blush that was slightly coloring her cheeks. He was still trying to get her to have lunch with him. She didn’t know what to say. How hard could that be? You say either yes, or no. On the other hand, you can walk away. The last one wasn’t even an option, at least not now. She did agree to it before, even though she may have seemed to be kidding around, she wasn’t. Secretly she wanted it.
And there it was again, the full invitation. She couldn‘t say no. “Okay,” She said simply. “I’ll go out to lunch with you,” She gave him a slight smile.

Bebe quickly rushed to help Shane with the items he'd dropped. It was better than listening to Tiara accept Zara's invitation. At this point, Bebe felt it would be better to admit it to herself than keep having spaz attacks. Yes, she had some feelings for Zara. Mostly because he was so unassuming and ridiculous. Bebe wished she had someone like that in her life, someone totally crazy and fun.
She did, once upon a time. His name was Chad.
"It's all right, just a spill," Bebe said, more to herself than to Shane. "Some of this stuff is really heavy. You need to be more careful." Bebe smiled, not noticing the tear catching in her eyelashes.
There she was. Bebe, the yakuza girl. Back at square one.

"No, don't worry. I'm just a klut--"Shane's eyes caught Bebe's face. The tear that fell from her eye had stabbed him through the heart. "Are-are you okay?" he stuttered.
He looked through his backpack for a bunch of tissues. Shane had tissues in his backpack just in case he hurt himself too much but now, he used it to drape against Bebe's cheek. "Did I do something to upset you? Do you need to sit down?" Shane was lovable. His concern was truthful.
Did I do anything...?

"I just would real--" Jimmie stopped and blinked for a bit, letting his mind wrap around what came out of Tiara's mouth. When it finally caught up to his brain that she agreed, he was quite baffled. He honestly had been ready for her to jokingly say no or come out and tell him no and to leave her alone, just like everyone else basically told him. Of course, people weren't as nice about it as Tiara had been that last time she told him no. Actually he didn't know if she had been joking or not now that he thought about it. After all he had been joking along with her until he mentioned they should 'do lunch' sometime.
"Oh, well...awesome!", he exclaimed, slipping his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, grinning like a fool now. The grin wasn't simply because of the fact that she was the first girl to say yes, but the first girl he actually liked said yes. Tiara was the only one he liked. He would admit to himself that his crush on Sharpay was fueled by the fact that she liked him...or so they say. He couldn't figure it out at all if she did or not, but that was the least of his worries.
"So...Friday? Seven?" Typical Jimmie, following typical date night times and the day. He should just smack himself right there.

Tiara couldn’t let what just slipped out slip out. She was actually surprised on what had just happened. The deed was done; there was no turning back. She also knew he would keep asking her and each time she would turn him down, or at least she would make it seem that way. Actually, the more she thought about it, the idea wasn’t that bad. It would be rather amusing to her, but she hadn’t been on a date since she transferred and wanted to experience the differences and similarities. Tiara doubted that the former would be a big list, but nonetheless wanted to go out somewhere with someone, other than Sharpay. That wasn't the reason why she agreed. She kind of-sorta-maybe liked him. She wouldn't admit it though.
It was sad that she still hadn’t made any friends besides Sharpay. Although the said person wasn’t what you would consider a friend since she was just using her. Since she happened to be associated with her, no one wanted to talk to Tiara. She was just the new sophomore who followed Sharpay around. Whatever. It would pay off at the end.
She stared at Jimmie after she had agreed to go out with him. He had been silent for a while and she was starting to wonder if he was okay. Sure enough, a moment later he had exclaimed his excitement. She thought it was rather cute, like a little kid who just found a stash of candy, cute.
When Jimmie had given her a day and time, Tiara began to think to see if she had anything to do on Friday. When she came out empty handed, she agreed. “Yeah, sure that’s fine.” She couldn’t help, but laugh at the default time.

Bebe tried to ignore the two idiots making pleasantries. They were blissfully unaware of Bebe's heartache. Every time her heart tried to reform, it was shattered again. First Chad, now this idiot Zara. He had no idea. That was how Bebe wanted it.
But now Shane was watching her cry. How unbecoming. Bebe quickly wiped the tear away, noticing that Shane was really concerned. Bebe smiled. Someone cared.
"You didn't do anything," Bebe said. "It's not anything you did, don't worry. It's... it's something that happens a lot to me." It was a cryptic explanation, but it would have to do. "You're doing just fine. A lot better than the idiot who's supposed to be helping you."
The idiot who's got a date with a poseur.
Bebe didn't even have that big a crush on Zara! Was this the state she was in? Was she really that emotionally sick?
