Play Ball{Open, but including Lea mostly to start}

[Sharpay Evans]

Sharpay was suddenly taken back to earth when she heard the perky voice of Emma, her most loyal Sharpette. She smiled at her, and Boi wagged its furry tail.

"Hey Emma. So you knew all along that Lea plays baseball and you didn't even tell me?" She asked in a mock surprised and disbelief tone.

[Bebe Tenko]

Bebe sighed. Better late than never. Bebe took a seat at the top row of the bleachers and decided to watch, certain that the death glares would come her way soon.

[Emma the Loyal Sharpette]

Emma looked at the ground. She had never kept anything from Sharpay before. She always told her everything, and Lea made her and Jackie swear not to tell Sharpay. I guess Lea was afraid of how their leader might react to the shocking news.

"Er, yeah. Sorry Sharpay. She made me promise. You KNOW I would never keep anything from you unless I was sworn to secrecy by Lea or Jackie."

Emma looked up at Sharpay after her reponse, afraid that she might be angry with her.

[Sharpay Evans]

Sharpay's eyes softened, and she soon giggled. "It's cool. I kinda expected you all to hide something from me anyway." She said with a smile, shrugging her shoulders.

One girl though suddenly caught her eye, when she walked towards the bleachers. "Where have I seen that girl before?" She asked more to herself, but it came out loud anyway.

Emma was a little taken back that Sharpay reacted so....nice. Not that she minded, she always loved it when Sharpay was nice, but this was overly nice. She smiled at her idol.

She then looked over at the girl Sharpay commented about.

"I-I don't know who that is, Sharpay. I thought you knew most of the people here?" Emma looked back at Sharpay.

[Sharpay Evans]

"Well, I know a lot of people, that's the problem." Sharpay said, grinning as she shook her head. "I think I saw her in East High, but...oh well." She waved her hand off, as if telling Emma to forget it.

She turned back to the game, smiling inwardly as she watched Ryan play his best, all for her. She didn't realize that a dreamy look was starting to form on her face.

[Martha Cox]

Martha entered the baseball field. She wasn't aware that a baseball game was going on. This must be where everyone ran off to. She thought. Sure enough, as she went walking towards the bleachers, she saw Sharpay, Gabriella, one of Sharpay's friends, and a girl she had never met. Martha smiled a hello to them.

She looked over to the baseball field to find Ryan and another one of Sharpay's friends in a baseball game. Wow She thought, A sharpette playing baseball and Sharpay doesn't seem to mind. This is weird.

Martha shook off her thoughts and joined the others in the bleachers.

[Emma the Loyal Sharpette]

Emma knew that hand gesture of Sharpay's all too well, and instantly dropped the subject. Emma turned to watch the game with Sharpay. Emma was never that into sports, and she got bored quickly. She looked around to see if maybe there was something more exciting to watch besides Ryan and Lea.

Emma saw a new girl she had never met before walk over. She grinned slightly at her as she smiled at them.

Emma glanced at Sharpay, and noticed she was watching the game pretty intently. She never thought Sharpay was that into sports, and was suprised how interested Sharpay was. There was something about the slight grin on her lips that set Emma off, and she had to ask.

"Hey Sharpay, I didn't think you were that into sports. You seem pretty interested in the game."

[Sharpay Evans]

Sharpay suddenly became aware of her stupid grin when Emma talked to her. She put on an emotionless face quickly, hoping it was convincing enough.

"Oh this game? Well, it was just interesting to see Ryan," she had to keep from smiling at the mention of his name. And she also remembered she'd have to add Lea in her statement, to make it seem fair, "and Lea play baseball. You know I haven't seen them play before." She said, shrugging her shoulders lightly.

Emma noticed Sharpay's face become emotionless almost instantly. Now Emma knew she wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, but she knew Sharpay so well, and knew her expressions that she was famous for, and thought maybe something was up. Emma decided against it, and knew that if Sharpay had something going on, surely she would tell her most loyal Sharpette, right?

Emma smiled at Sharpay. "Oh that's so nice! You're a such a supportive sister and friend!"

She made mental notes on how Sharpay shrugged her shoulders and promised herself she would practice that shoulder shrug later in her mirror to perfect it just like Sharpay.

[Sharpay Evans]

"I know I am." Sharpay said it like it was obvious, then turned her head away. She breathe out a sigh of relief upon turning her face away from Emma. She had to be more prepared for these questions next time.

She looked at Ryan again, wondering what was going on inside his head at the time, besides the game.

Emma grinned at Sharpay's reponse. Of course Sharpay was a great sister and friend! She was Sharpay Evans, after all!

Emma turned and began to watch the game again, completely unaware of how the game was played at all and tried to see if she could figure it out by watching Ryan and Lea.

[Bebe Tenko]

Bebe sighed lightly. Thank GOD none of the bedazzled Sharpettes had approached her. That would have been... awkward.

[Ryan Evans]

Ryan swung at the ball Lea threw, this time the comforting sound of ball hitting back filled his ears, he threw the bat aside and did an awkward run to first base, he had no intention of running to home plate, not when the game was strictly a batter and pitcher.

"And the crowd goes wild." Ryan shouted jokingly as he mimicked the roar of a much larger audience.

As soon as he got to the base he turned back around to return to home plate. He looked up at the bleachers, a clandestine smile forming on his face, he would have to be more careful now with half the Lava Springs members and staff watching every move.

He looked at Sharpay, in the smallest smile he could muster, winking at her in the very slightest, hoping he could play it off as sand in his eye if questioned.

Bebe snickered. The fool got sand in his eye. Her features rearranged to hide her entertainment.
