I'd like to say that we could have a site that functions entirely without rules. I'd also like to have the magical ability to generate chicken wings out of my hands.
Until I can generate chicken wings out of my hands, here are some basic ground rules to follow:
1) This is a Rypay Role-playing Site. You must be matured enough to know and accept that this is twincest. Though I'm going to make it clear that we don't support this in real-life.
2) You must have an experience in role-playing, meaning you must be at least literate or higher. Or if you don't have any experience, you have to be at least willing to learn and adapt to the role-playing rules set in this board.
3)Keep the RP PG-13. No killing, rape, extreme violence, or graphic sexual situations (i.e. smut, cybering, etc.). Avoid swearing, although sometimes it's acceptable in role-playing. If you think your post might contain mature content, indicate the rating of the RP in the title. (i.e. 18+ or M).
4)No "God-moding" (GM)/Power-playing. Meaning, you can't control other character's action. You can only control your own character. You have to wait for the other character to do his action before you can do whatever you want your character to do.
5) Be creative and descriptive as much as possible. Avoid one or two words reply. Minimum reply is 200 words. This applies to all characters, Canon or Original.
Avoid replies like this: "What?" Sharpay asked.
Instead, post something like this: "What?" Sharpay asked with her right eyebrow raised, and her right hand on her hip.
Make sure to read through your posts to check your grammar and spelling. Mistakes are normal, the staff isn't immune to mistakes themselves, but try to edit your posts if you see any errors.
6) Multiple accounts must be approved by an admin or moderator on a case by case basis. Our emphasis right now is on filling canon characters and having active RPers filling those positions before moving ahead with multiple OCs per user.
7)If you have been inactive without notice (i.e. not posting at the Away Thread), depending on the importance of your character to the RP's plot, your character will be forfeited to an interested member after 3 weeks.
8)Respect other members, and their opinions. Be friendly to everyone, especially the newbies. If we (the staffs) receive any complain from a new member about being ignored or being bullied, we would give you a warning. If you continue to do your previous actions, your account will be suspended for days or weeks depending on the gravity of the case.
9) Our RP operates on “three strikes, you're out.” After three instances* of habitual rule breaking, the staff may ask you to leave. (*Depending on the severity of the offense, you may be asked to leave sooner; this will be determined by individual circumstance.)
10) If you have any questions about these rules don't hesitate to ask any of the staff, we're here to help. Also, don't forget to have fun! ;D
** The part is important so pay attention!: Congratulations, now you've read the rules and can proceed to filling out your character application! To prove you have read the rules, the application will ask you for the "magic password." The so-called "magic password" can be found after highlighting this presumably blank space with your cursor flying body parts. Again, the magic password is: flying body parts.
