Sharpay couldn't take it anymore. She felt like she was going to die from too much happiness. She had to let it out, somehow, and share it with Ryan.
She once again placed her shaking hands on his cheeks and brought his lips down to meet hers, the kiss getting deeper and deeper every second. Her hands slid to the back of his head, feeling the softness of his hair. She felt her legs instinctively wrapping around his hips.

Ryan started out kissing her slowly, just small pecks on the lips, but soon his kisses became more hungry as she started to make the kisses deeper and deeper as he tried his best to match his feelings with actions, directly mirroring what she was doing without even realizing it.
He felt her legs wrap around his hips and he couldn't help but let out a groan as his legs twitched lightly, unable to hold his weight up properly he leaned them both up against the stone pool wall.
stay a gentleman,stay a gentleman, He thought as he let his hand slowly trail up to her face, into her hair, teasing her once again.

Sharpay let her hands roam on his head, lightly massaging it in the process. She felt the fire that started a while ago behind the waterfall, burn once again inside her and this time she felt the fire grow. She grew more and more hungry for his kisses.
When she felt his hand trail up to her face and into her hair, the tingling sensations returned and this time she felt them strongly, making her elicit a moan through the kiss.

Ryan felt like he was on fire as her hands began to roam along his body again, her soft touch driving him insane. Gentleman, he reminded himself again.behave.
He took a deep breath and relaxed slightly as he continued to kiss her at the same steady click, the moan that escaped her lips, however; it was almost too much, he lost his balance on his feet and brought them both careening back into the cooler water of the pool, now completely submerged.

The sudden coldness of the pool water against her skin made Sharpay shiver all over, causing her to press her body against his. She didn't want to break the kiss just yet, so she held on to him tightly, her hands on the back of his neck.
Underwater kisses aren't bad after all...

Ryan was worried that as they collided into the water, they were going to have to cease and readjust, killing the moment that they had just successfully built up again. as her arms wrapped around his neck, he let his arms sling low on her waist, his thumbs teasing along her hip bones as they remained afloat in the water, attached at the mouth.
Much better than anything Romeo and Juliet could do

Sharpay jumped slightly at the feeling of his thumbs along her hip bones, but his touch just felt so good, she kept on wanting more. It was as if her brain had been turned off at the moment, because she couldn't hear any voices telling her to stop now before it gets too far.
She roamed her hands on his back, feeling every muscle she could feel. Ryan wasn't that athletic, but his body was built just the way she wanted it. Maybe God does listen to her prayers, no matter how cruel she had been.

Ryan shuddered as her hands roamed his back and while he loved how it felt, he knew that he was going to have to take the reigns and stop this, before it got too far. He grabbed her around the waist softly and hoisted her out of the water, returning himself to an upright position as well.
He gasped a few times. "In order for me to stay a gentleman, we're going to have to stop this now, I don't want to break my promise to you, but part of me knew if we didn't stop now..." His voice trailed out as he kept her suspended out of the water in his arms, at a loss for words as he continued to breathe heavily.

Sharpay was gasping for breath, after Ryan hoisted her out of the water. She understood what he was trying to say, and she suddenly wondered why she weren't able to stop herself. Had she wanted him right now?
She shook her head, and rested it on Ryan's shoulder. "I know..." she said, suddenly losing her voice so it came out as a whisper.
She looked up at him, smiling as she felt so lucky to have a gentleman boyfriend for the first time in her life. "Thank you." She said, giving him a quick kiss.
"What have I done to deserve someone like you?" She asked, happiness in her voice.

Ryan lowered her into his arms more, so he could embrace her better. "Look, if we get to thatpoint," He said lowering his voice into a whisper. "I want it to be special, you deserve that." He said with a weak grin on his face.
He wasn't sure what he wanted, his brain was confusing his body and vice versa. All he knew is that he wanted Sharpay happy, and he wanted them to have a real chance at a real relationship.
He kissed her back lightly, knowing he'd done the right thing in stopping them then, he couldn't bear losing her to awkwardness if he'd pushed her.
"I was just asking myself the same question, what did I do to deserve a girl like you?" He asked giving her another small innocent kiss on the lips.

Sharpay felt like melting as she heard those words. She gladly returned the innocent kiss and smiled at him afterwards.
She wrapped an arm around his waist and leaned on him. "So I guess it's really time to head back inside?" She asked him, as she saw the sky slowly beginning to light up again.

Ryan let out a laugh when he realized they'd stayed out all night. "Yeah we should go, that dopey lifeguard will show up and ruin our whole secret ruse we have set up, and I don't really want to be the scandal of the day, at least not the known scandal." He added as he wiggled his eyebrows at her suggestively.

Sharpay laughed, hitting Ryan on the chest. "Do you think mom and dad will check on us when they wake up?" She asked, trailing a finger on his chest. "Because if not...I'd like to sleep beside you." She said, smiling. "And I do mean sleep, before you react violently." She grinned at him, knowing that if she hadn't followed that statement...well, she didn't really want to know how he would have reacted.

Ryan smiled when Sharpay said she wanted to sleep beside him."They won't check on us, they haven't ever decided to before now." He said with a grin, taking her hand softly. "I'd like that, and yes I know you mean sleep, as in eye closed, pajamas." He said shaking his head at her.
He laughed so loud he was worried he was going to wake up the other guests. "Violent, yes because I often get the urge to punch girls, especially my beautiful girlfriend for suggesting sleeping with me."

Sharpay laughed loudly along with Ryan. "Oh really? So you'd hit me?" She placed her other hand on her hip as she asked.
"I actually don't think that's how you'd react if I suggested sleeping with you." She said, grinning.
