Ryan had been sitting down at the piano in the music room, tinkling the keys ever so lightly, he had been working on a new song to replace "Humuhumu" after their lyrical debacle. He was about to start working on the verse when he heard Sharpay's voice ring clearly in his head.
Ryan dashed across the lobby, to the pool, there was no question in his mind that he would find her there on her chaise. He burst out through the double glass doors, spotting Sharpay struggling to fight a very wet looking Zeke Baylor off of her. His lips pressed against hers harshly.
I said to keep your hands off her, Baylor.
He ran around to the other side of the pool carefully, not wanting to plummet to the bottom like last time. He stormed around until he was mere feet away. "Take your hands off my sister!" Ryan shouted angrily, his voice probably echoing through the entirety of the resort as he balled his hand into a fist and slammed it into Zeke Baylor's jaw.

Zeke felt sudden pain in his jaw, his lips comming off of Sharpay "Ryan! Whats you problem?" Zeke said rubbing his jaw. "Sharpay before I go tell me, who do you love?" Zeke asked

Sharpay suddenly screamed at the sudden impact, and her eyes widened when she saw her brother's fist connecting with Zeke's jaw. She instantly got up, hiding behind Ryan. She wrapped her arms around his waist, as she tried hard not to cry.
"Ry...oh my god..." She buried her face on his back, as she started to sob.

Zeke saw Sharpay cry." Im a jerk... I know I am..." Zeke said. "See you sharpay... I can go without knowing who you love.." Zeke said

Ryan was now thoroughly enraged, if he wasn't before he certainly was now. As Sharpay ran behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist he couldn't help but worry. He felt warm tears soak through the back of his t-shirt. He took a hard look at Zeke and began to walk towards him. He carefully unwrapped her arms from his waist, motioning for her to stay a few steps behind.
"I told you to stay away from my sister, Baylor." Ryan said menacingly poking him in the chest, fully aware that he was nearly 6 inches smaller than Zeke and quite a bit lighter. He stood his ground as he pushed Zeke closer to the pool again.

Zeke sighed "I will do it for you." Zeke said and jumped into the water backwords and fakely screamed "Ahhhhhh" Zeke didnt care anymore.

Sharpay decided to pull Ryan away, he need not fight him again now. She wiped her lips in disgust, tears still threatening to fall from her eyes.
She looked at Ryan gratefully, before hugging him tightly. "Thank you, Ry...thank you..." she mumbled into his chest over and over again.

Sharpay lifted her face to look at Ryan, worry and fear still visible on her face. She took a glance at Zeke, a glance that's full of hatred.
"What do you want?" She hissed at him, never taking her arms off of Ryan.

Zeke sighed "All i want to know is, who do you love? Also, I dont mean this in a mean why but why is Ryan killing me?" Zeke wondered all of this and needed to know

Ryan looked at Zeke, appraising him. "I'll let you have five minutes, and I'll be watching from the lifeguard tower." He said harshly, his teeth gritted slightly. He gave Sharpay a comforting look and pulled her into a hug nodding. He stalked past where Zeke stood in the pool. "Any funny business, and I swear to god." He said pointing a finger at him, his whole body shaking.
He stormed over to the lifegaurd chair and slumped into the seat, his eyes weren't going to leave them for a second, not if he could help it.

Zeke was impressed with Ryan's generousty "Sharpay who is you love, and why is Ryan being a jerk to me." Zeke said with anger, thorwing his hands in the air!

Sharpay felt a little insecure without Ryan by her side, but she made sure to glance at him every once in a while. She wrapped her arms around her, suddenly feeling cold. She kept on rubbing her arms with her hands.
"I...You don't need to know who I love...it's none of your business." She answered coldly at Zeke's question.
"And Ryan is NOT a jerk! He is just being a good brother, because brothers are supposed to protect their sisters from jerks like you!" She suddenly exclaimed. "Yes, Zeke, you are the jerk!" She said, her arms now to her side as her fists started to shake.

Zeke gasped, "Sharpay, i thought you were nicer now!" Zeke was shocked at the rudeness of Sharpay. "Ryan isnt a jerk, your a jerk." Zeke said in a mocking tone. "Sharpay, i love you and you love me face it." Zeke thought. " Sharpay, come to the stage tonight..." Zeke cant belive he just said that was he really gonna sing that song to Sharpay? "I wanna show you something, you can bring your brother to, just come... please." Zeke begged.
