Sharpay furrowed her eyebrows in thought. What could he do to Ryan that would be really hard for him? She thought about him, the Wildcats that he had made friends with...then an idea came to her mind. She smiled at the thought, knowing that this is really going to be hard for him, but she knew it would be worth it.
"Okay," she said excitedly "so since you said you'll do anything...how about you convince your Wildcat friends to like me? And you have to do it in 24 hours only." She said this, smirking.
She knew that even after the talent show, the Wildcat boys still hold a grudge against her for almost stealing their star player. She knew they won't be convinced that easily.

Ryan's eyes widened lightly at Sharpay's suggestion, if he could even call it that. He was worried about how he'd go about it, he was certain that he could convince them, but he was afraid he would get defensive if they said anything he objected to. They had a hard time grasping her as his sister, he wasn't sure what they'd think of her as his girlfriend.
"I'll try my hardest, but I'm not even sure how to start something like that, they may not be the brightest bulbs, but they'll know something isn't right." He said looking at her in mild concern. " I might need some help from Gabi." He admitted in a slight pain that he couldn't do this all by himself, he couldn't be her shining knight now.

Sharpay looked at Ryan, her smile turning into a slight frown. "Ry, is it too much? You know, I can change it." She said, feeling slightly sad inside. She really wanted to make it easy for him and her to be accepted, that's why she thought this idea would be perfect. But making it too hard for Ryan wasn't part of the plan.
"But Ry, I just want you to know that I believe you can do this. You have a really great personality, probably even the greatest personality among them. And since they gave you a chance and trusted you, I can't see why they won't believe you this time." She said, her eyes showing concern and sincerity at the same time. "I mean, I know I've done a lot of damages, but, I know you can change their mind. Just like how you convinced me to change into a better person, even if you don't know it." She smiled at him at the last part. He was the only reason why she had been a "nicer Sharpay". She wanted to make him proud.

Ryan smiled at her. "No, it's not hard, I'm just saying it might be suspect if I go up to the Wildcats and say it, they still think we're fighting, at least they have this assumption that we're still working on being friends again." He added smiling weakly, he hated having to lie to everyone he knew and loved, well almost everyone he loved.
"Gabi might have to help, only because it's common knowlege that you guys have become fast friends since you lost interest in Troy." Ryan added, hoping she would think he was still willing to make his friends change, he just wanted to cover all the bases so nothing would seem suspicious.

Sharpay smiled happily after hearing everything he had said. She had decided the night that they got together that she really wanted to be friends with his new friends, just like how a girlfriend is to her boyfriend's friends. That way, it would be easier to move around them...and maybe, they might accept this whole thing happening.
"Yeah, I think Gabriella should help too. And it would be easier for you, since her boyfriend is the source of all the Wildcat pride." She said, grinning. "So you would really do it?" She asked him happily and excitedly, slightly jumping on his chaise.

Ryan chuckled at her excited reaction. "Of course," He answered incredulously. "I was always going to, I told you anything, and I meant it," He said with a light nod. "I just needed to know how to do it." He added as he raised his eyebrows lightly, looking off into the pool, the sun flickering off it.

Sharpay nodded understandingly. "Don't worry. I promise I'll do my part. I'll be nice, really." She said, grabbing hold of one of his hands, squeezing it lightly. "You won't see the Ice Princess anymore." She said, smiling. Even if it's hard to let go of the old ways, Sharpay is determined to change.
"But I surely will turn back to my old ways if Zeke is around." She frowned at this thought, her shoulders slowly dropping. That was another problem. How can she act nice when Zeke is around?

Ryan looked at Sharpay long and hard, there was something she said that bugged him ever so slightly. "I never saw the Ice Princess, never." He said, his voice angry at how little she seemed to trust herself. "I only ever saw you, anyone who saw you as the Ice Princess," He broke off, thinking of how people had treated her, had treated them until recently. "Anyone who saw you as the Ice Princess was never really looking." He said firmly.

Sharpay was surprised at the slight anger in Ryan's voice. "But...but...Ry, you know how I treated you. I ditched you for Troy, I pushed you around, even treated you worse than Fulton, how can I not be the Ice Princess?" She asked him, disbelief in her voice. She shook her head gently, her cheeks turning red as she felt shame and guilt creeping up on her chest. "Don't tell me you didn't get mad at me." She looked down at her lap, watching her hands shook under her stare.

Ryan nodded his head lightly. "Yeah, of course I was mad at you," He said looking down at her sypathetically. "But at the end of the day, you are my twin sister, my better half. You're my family, so what if we fight, we make up and we're fine the next day.If we aren't better the next day, then the day after that." He stated as if he had just told her the weather.
He brought his hands to her chin and carefully turned her averted glance back to him. "You were never the Ice Princess to me." He repeated with the same firmness as before.

Sharpay couldn't believe it, she just couldn't believe someone can see her as just Sharpay, not as Sharpay, the Ice Princess. And her brother was that someone, of all people. The one person she had probably treated the worst.
She embraced him tightly, letting him know how grateful she is, through that one action. "I love you, Ry, so much..." she mumbled into his chest, her voice slightly cracking.

Ryan hugged her close, he didn't want her to feel like this, it was odd to see her in such a vulnerable state, he wanted her to feel in control again. He shushed her lightly again as her voice cracked slightly. "I thought you knew that already." He said shaking his head in disbelief. He looked down at her again. "Whatever happens between you and me, good or bad, I'm always here for you." He said trying to soothe her. "I always was, and I always will be, it's you and me together for life." He said hoping she would understand how much he loved her in this moment, and how he always loved her and would always love her.

Sharpay looked up at him, her face glowing with so much happiness and love. Ryan just keep on surprising her everyday, whether it be through words or actions. He just keeps on making her love him more each day, making her heart swell, she couldn't help but wonder when will it explode.
She nodded at him lightly, smiling so much. "You and me together...forever." She said with a light giggle, before hugging him close again. "No matter what."

He hugged her back, a small smile on his face, he was certain she understood now, and he hoped there would be no more doubts, nothing that would cause her fear or harm. He was going to make it his job to stop the Ice Princess nonsense, even if it killed him.
"No matter what." He repeated with a happy nod, smiling at her broadly.

Sharpay smiled with her eyes closed, still feeling oddly light on the inside, as if she was floating. She stayed there in his arms until tiredness overtook her body fully. She fell asleep in that position, her arms slowly dropping from his waist to his sides. The smile never left her face even in her sleep.
